There's an ad that runs this time of year about a group of friends who get along when they're younger, but their differences drive them apart as they grow up. (The differences are shown a different races in the ad, but they wouldn't have to be.) Eventually, the dicussions become arguments, the arguments get heated, the gatherings stop. The group is no more; it's torn apart by anger, distrust, and hate.
