Willow:

"...see it as inspiring and symbolic of humans' capability to withstand hardship, loss, and difficult emotions. Thanks to its long life and the ease with which new trees can be rooted from cuttings, the willow tree is also seen as a survivor and a symbol of rebirth."

"The willow tree gives us hope, a sense of belonging, and safety. Furthermore, the ability to let go of the pain and suffering to grow new, strong and bold.”

Maple:

"The iconic maple tree: A symbol of strength, endurance and protection."

"Maple trees symbolize balance, offering, practical magic, promise, longevity, generosity, and intelligence."

Dogs:

"Dog meanings and symbolism include adaptability, family, friendship and affection, loyalty and devotion, patience and perseverance, bravery, protection, sensitivity and insight, purpose, and joy."

"Dogs are also symbols of strength, courage, and tenacity."

Well, when I look at it that way... Monday and Wednesday can be my Willow Days, Tuesday and Thursday can be Maple Days, and I'll have a 3-Day Weekend of Dog.

I've been planning my costume since November 1st. It's the one day a year I can dress how I want and not have to give a flying fig about other people because theyre dressed up too
I've never been able to celebrate Halloween because of my religious folks. Next year will be the first one I can celebrate as I'll be moved out by then...
Better believe I'm going all out! Even the animals are getting dressed up! 😂

Y'all I have made a decision on dog stuff
I've decided on a.....
Border collie!
Because why settle for energetic when we can have insane intelligence and craziness?

Truly though, I have a lot of experience with border collies, including exercising them for people, so it's all good.
And I made another decision, I was looking for a good breeder, when I realised how commonly young collies are given up. I saw an ad online for a 9 week old collie pup, who had only just been bought, and the person had immediately regretted getting him. 🤯
More commonly they go through that teenage phase 3-18 months and get given away very commonly at those ages. So I'm going to wait until I find the right pup online, and go pick them up. That way they're technically a rescue and find a good home to get the exercise and stimulation they need :)

So if anyone was interested last time I mentioned my hopes for a new dog, this is the update. Idk when, as I have two other dogs to prioritise and a move to go through. But I know when I do it'll be a male bc and I'll find one that needs a good home!
I lovvvve my dogs, but one is very much an old lady in need of retirement, and my younger girl is brilliant but I'm specifically hoping for an agility dog, and potentially a psychiatric service dog. Whether or not they get qualified, I'm hoping I can at least take them with me to dog friendly places to help me. (Obviously not to other places if they aren't a real service animal, I know how bad that is).
Funnily enough, both my current dogs are rescues, I didn't ask for either, but they ended up in my life and I can never lose them. Im excited to get to choose my next one though!

Longcoated BC are very pretty, I totally agree! Good luck on finding your pup,
Honestly I think I prefer long coated, my sister has a long coated bc and she is so pretty! But personality of the dog matters more, so I'd be happy to have a short coated too

anyhow! Is there a specific reason you're wanting a male?
