Okay y'all, I got another question cause it's coming up in one of my stories and I'm not sure how I want to continue on it. I'll even tag @Shabby Chic-Hens for a younger perspective.


Question:
How would you address them if this were you? Father/Dad or Uncle or name?

Situation:
When you were still a very, very young infant, your parents died. Your uncle (father's brother if that matters) took you in and raised along his own sons as one of his own. For as long as you can remember, you have known he is your uncle, but never treated you any differently than his own sons and daughter.

This is up to the author, what is their(child and uncle) relationship like?
That will determine the way the child refers to the uncle.

Okay, thanks yall. I was pretty sure that dad/father wasn't the route to go, but he is lumped into 'sons' when all of them are being referred to, he's not singled out as 'sons and nephew'..

His voice sounds better when I have him say the name though and not Uncle in typical day to day speak

I am excited to introduce him in the story. Apart from Mark and possibly Abigor and their father, this character (Raum) has the most backstory

Omg, almost forgot about the update since I didn't have any update photos. I might not have any new photos (f-ing cold and rain), but I do have some bad news. We lost one chick. Wasn't acting any different yesterday, no signs of bloody poop or anything related to coccidiosis, and all the other chickies look good

Oh I am so sorry you lost a chick, sadly not all babies make it to adulthood. Glad the others are doing well though! You are doing great with all of them, and Cruella is a Star Mom! Thanks for the update Fluffy!

No problem! I feel like I have to mention Ursula, even though Cruella is pulling most of the weight. I'm very surprised Ursula is still co-mothering, this is the most consistent thing she's done in her life. Thank you

Oh yes I should have mentioned Ursula, she is doing a wonderful job too! ❤ Come spring, they both may go broody at the same time, they will make a perfect broody momma team!!

Let's hope so! Two little bantams, ruling the roost! Let's hope Cruella's adopted daughter has also picked up some tricks from her, and does the same. And then we have the two brahma, and the one brahma mix, and the three serama!
