Dang nabbit. I was really hoping I was going to be wrong about the wigs. Definitely not real hair, and no labels either, so I don't even know if they can be styled with heat. At least 2 of them are pretty long and a pretty blonde, so if I can figure out how to put them on enough to cover my real hair, maybe I can use them for short trips nowhere serious. I can braid them at the very least I guess.

The 3rd is a blonde 'karen' cut, so too short and too blonde for what I wanted to do

If they aren't real hair, you can't use curling irons on wigs, most are synthetic materials and will melt. You can wet the hair and use curlers on them, hair spray too. I usually buy them pre styled, much easier to deal with. I do find it difficult purchasing wigs on line as they never look like the advertised product, nor do they look as good as they do on someone else.
