Woke up a bit early today and almost panicked when the rooster was way too quiet in the cat carrier. He was just chilling and seemed scared when I opened it.
I've gotten so used to hearing him chirp and crow in my bedroom every morning that I feared finding him dead.
He got a treat for me scaring him.
He's also only staying in my bedroom at night time because he recently started taking to crowing at night

I'm so done with my family.
They were complaining today about my cat just because she did something wrong once yesterday. She peed over near my younger brother's desk setup.
Everytime she does 1 thing wrong, they constantly have to bring it up.
They've never liked my cat and constantly call her the devil

I mean, peeing out of a litter box can be a big deal. My girl is awful about peeing in the dirty laundry, and it's near impossible to get the smell out sometimes

As someone who grew up in a cat hoarding house, there really isn't a worse smell. So, I don't blame them for being upset, but if its a 1-time thing then they need to let it go, she's a cat, not someone trying to be malicious to anyone or anything. That said, if its a normal thing or even if that's out of the norm for her, I'd get her checked out by a vet if you can. Suddenly not peeing in the cat box sometimes was the first sign we had that my cat was having pain in her hip and shoulder due to arthritis. We took her in because she'd always been perfect about the cat box and suddenly started peeing out of it or next to it for some reason. A new cat box with a nice ramp was all it took to get her back on track for a long time.
