she is inside, has no response to epsom salt baths, and I had a shell less egg and gave it to her, she just looked at it, pecked it, and did NOTHING. I opened it for her into a cat-food container and she pecked at it, and ate a bit, and did NOTHING. To top it off it seems she is on death's door
I'm sure. Otherwise she would smell. And her crop is not full it is half full, and soft because there's so much water.
And, I don't have tomatoes and if I drive 1&1/2 hours to Red Deer she would be probably dead then. I think I will just let her peacefully pass, if there is nothing else I can do. I don't have tomatoes, I just have tomato seedlings, and you said that tomato leaves are poisonous. I gave her an epsom salt bath but it's not helping. She is resting inside right now.

I finally ended her misery. I am cremating her even though there is a fire ban here.
She was my favorite, my best, my sweet little chicken. She accompanied me and helped me weed the garden, helped with grasshopper control, and was just there to help, all the time.
