lice and baby chicks!

I have a broody that I realized has lice (the straw colored kind) Well, I have decided to put her back in the coop now that the babies are here and treat her with the rest of the flock. But how do I treat the chicks? they are so tiny! I don't even know how lice could live on them, I think they are the feather kind.

Treat the hen and leave her with the chicks. The lice travel from bird to bird and they will get controlled when they move to the just-treated hen.

I would dust the chicks with DE.
