Check the ornamental plant section of nurseries. Most dusting powders for roses will contain permethrin or sevin (carbaryl).
That's a good idea. I will - because the powders are banned for chickens, here in Canada (or so I've been told when I was searching for it). Maybe it is still available in a nursery, like you've suggested. The flock got completely doused, as above, and I sprayed the heck out of every nook and cranny. And I'll repeat once the week is up. I also put a wormer/parasite killer in their water on the same day and will repeat coming up here after Christmas. I went to get the Ivermectin injectable (for skin dosing on my goats) but it was pulled off the shelf and is only available at the vet...which is new. Is the saline version you're mentioning the same thing?
