I picked up on some of your language that clued me that you probably were in Europe. Elector may not be available to you even though you can order from Amazon other things.

If you can find liquid permethrin, that's what I would go with, and make a dip as I described doing with the Elector.

Lice are gross and annoying, but rarely life threatening. You'll conquer them eventually. And yes, you can yank out nit covered feather shafts. They will grow back in a month.
