Lice in the winter, below freezing temps...

Hello!

I recently learned that my chickens have lice. I would TYPICALLY use Elector PSP spray, but because of the below freezing temps (and winter in general) I am not sure it is the product to use now. I am looking for recommendations for products that work and egg withdrawal period (if there is one, is known). I have 2 children under the age of 5 and am nervous about using a product I have not used before because of egg safety.

Someone recommended Eprinex. I think it sounds like a simple treatment for winter application. Looks like there is an egg withdrawal period of 14 days per application?
