Lice on chickens

Hi, does anyone know what to use to get rid of lice in chickens. I'm in ireland so most products in the US aren't available here. I have used diatomaceous earth but it hasnt fully solved the problem.

Old school remedies are lard or vaseline on the nits (the egg clusters at the base of feathers, typically near the vent) and permethrin which is widely available in/as ant powder. Try to make sure they don't inhale the dust (or inhale as little as possible) if you use the latter.
