    Question.

I've read allot on this Forum about lice, mites or other insects on chickens.

If you had Chickens that have experienced an infestation, do your chickens have access to a regular dirt bath?

    Yes,

    Mine do.

I treat their accommodation with a permethryn solution every 7-10 days and also use permethryn powder on my chickens to minimise any repeat of infestation - my chicken house is usually free of problems but in the warmer weather I treat both chickens and housing regularly.

My chickens dust bathe in grit and sand and also the sandy terrain we have here.

    Ya,
We treat our chickens with ivermectin 1-2 drops for bantams and 3-4 drops for standard size:)
