Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Horius lied. He had lied his whole life, and gotten good at it. He said simply “I’ve been building a fish trap near the river.”
"Awesome!" Persepolis responded, playing into his blatant lie. "If it works and you catch something good, we could have a fish fry in the near future."
She'd play into his lie for as long as he kept it up.

Stephen looked at Hector's red face & smirked. "Someone act like they're crushing." He teased, elbowing Hector in the side.
Hectors face turned redder and he elbowed Stephen back, trying to keep a straight face. "Naw." he laughed.
Casimir saw the girls, he recognized the Aves from the mountains and cursed under his breath as he moved to intercept Steve. He noticed the little girl then and his heart stopped, not a child, gods no. He rose from his cover and ran at Steve, tackling the man to the ground before he could make his shot.
Tory shrieked as the two men tumbled out of the underbrush. (gtg)

Steve
"Then it will be a fuzzy crown!" he shouted, bouncing up and down happily.
Steve fired his gun, accidentally, as Casimir tackled him, the pellets flying through the air. He cursed, looking up at Casimir, and asking furiously “Why’d you do that, you idiot?”

The pellets flew directly at Tory. Until they stopped, some of them missing her, but two of them burying themselves in Sierra’s outstretched wing. As blood seeped from it, she scooped the girl up in her arms, freezing her whole left wing to numb the pain. She urged Tory, trying to maintain her innocence “We should hurry up. I’m sure your doll wants it’s quickly.”

Horius nodded, smiling slightly. His lies were always backed by some evidence. He had a fish trap, but it had been made weeks ago. In secret. He nodded, before responding simply “Yup. That’ll be good.”

Persepolis shrugged, turning her attention back to her pancakes. But before she did so, her eyes flicked to Hector and she noticed his red face and Stephens teasing. She didn't say anything, figuring she didn't need to embarrass the man.
Thoughts floated around in Persepolis' head. She knew Horius was lying, she already knew what he had done today and she suspected he knew that. She'd probably get herself into trouble trying, but she was determined to stop him. Nobody was murdering innocent people, humans or otherwise, on her watch.

(I am going to answer Steve once more then we can wait until Ruby gets back. )

Casimir grabbed the gun and threw it into the underbrush angrily. "That is a child, we don't kill kids! What is wrong with you you sick creep? Even I don't kill kids and that is saying something!" He yelled at the man with a snarl as he drew his pistol and aimed it at the man. "I will shoot you if I have to Steve, leave those two alone." He warned in a low voice.

Luna chimes in, responding with a smile, “I’m sure Persepolis doesn’t mind that at all Hector.” (@Cyprus)
At the mention of her name, Persepolis' head shot up. After processing what had just been said, she smiles politely at Hector. "I don't mind." She stated in a soft voice. "If you're up to it someday, I wouldn't mind learning how to fashion a club."
(@Rubysword so you see this when you get back.)
