"I tied him to the tree because at least he had a chance of escaping, unlike what Horius wanted to do. Horius wanted him to 'feel his pain' and then kill him." Stephen said, starting to get a little defensive.

Luna had a very difficult time not cursing Horius and all he stood for. She asked, after taking a moment to sigh, "Did you try to meet with him? Or did he find you?"

Eva smiled at his recounting of his day, before responding "I trained all day, and managed to catch a rabbit too." She folded her wings neatly, before turning to face him, wondering what he would say next.

"Good." Lucas said, watching her. He stayed silent for a second, un-sure of what to say. "How... Did your training go?"

Eva replied simply, even though she was appreciative of his attention, "Good. How was yours?" She patiently waited for an answer, and returned her gaze towards the canyon until he spoke again or the small talk ended.

Luna was about to respond "Yes, it does. You're meeting up with a killer. And he's forcing you to kill.", but she shrugged it off, and apologized "No, it doesn't, I'm sorry." She began walking with him back to the main cabin area.
