Eva looked at her, following her at her brisk pace, wondering where they were actually going, but not worrying enough to that she would actually ask.
(That almost made me cry)
"Uh huh." Stephen replied, and continued sharpening his knife.
"We'll find blackberries for sure," Persepolis assured her. "We aren't leaving without them. They should be perfect at this time of year."Luna nodded, assuring her “That’s not a problem. All we need are some blackberries after that, and we have all the berries that we can eat in these woods I think.” When she landed, they began walking forward towards the strawberry bushes’ location.
(Yes, they should observe us. Your call as to whether or not we spot you, though.)(Shall they observe Luna and Persopolis?)
(Sounds good)(I'm good with either. How 'bout we let @HoodedHuntress decide? If Eva trips or something, they see us. lol)
Raquel stashed the pack under a bush, and began sweeping the ground with her eyes. "Let's find some tracks, and try to observe the aves from a distance, to make sure they're friendly. They might all not be as nice as that one." She let out a breath as she saw some tracks. "These look like they're headed towards that undergrowth. Probably some foragers."(Shall they observe Luna and Persopolis?)
Hector continued to fashion a club, enjoying the silence, and the eerie camaraderie of two guys working on their weapons.
Luna nodded, before looking up and spotting two human walking a few yards up ahead of them. She ducked behind the bush, whispering “Hunters.”"We'll find blackberries for sure," Persepolis assured her. "We aren't leaving without them. They should be perfect at this time of year."
Persepolis looked up, watching as a swarm of starlings darted around in the trees above them, moving in a dense black cloud. She remarked jokingly, "Hopefully we find our berries before those starlings do."
Eva kept on walking up ahead of Raquel, smiling before exclaiming “It’s such a beautiful day...” her voice trailing off as she saw two Aves hunched between a bush. She froze, not moving at all, motioning for Racquel to come over to her.Raquel stashed the pack under a bush, and began sweeping the ground with her eyes. Luna pulled out her knives, standing beside her. She wasn’t about to let her friend get into a battle without her.Upon hearing the word "hunters" panic flashed across Persepolis's face. "If things go south, run" She whispered back.
Persepolis whirled around, flaring her wings up to make herself appear larger and brandishing her machete. She stood in front of the bush Luna was hiding in, blocking the hunters' view.
