Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

He stopped and looked at her, aiming his cross bow for one of her wings, although he didn't shoot. "What I want is for you to answer my question, why should I spare your life? Oh and I also want you to beg me for your life, on your knees if you will. I find it is the little things that make something like this so much more enjoyable." He said with a chuckle and a charming smile. There was a flicker of something in his eyes, regret maybe at his words. It let on that there was perhaps more to the cold hearted hunter before her then what first meets the eye.
Sierra hates herself as she found herself on her knees, looking up at the hunter’s eyes, tears forming in hers. She responded softly, trying to maintain her composure lest he get tired and kill her. With a sharp breath, she explained “I haven’t done anything to you. Ever. I don’t even know you.” She looked up at him, her head formerly tilted downwards in shame at herself, pleading once again “Please don’t kill me.” She was being pushed to the edge, and out of desperation she might have to fight. Her shame would certainly play a part in that as she was kneeling down to a human.

"Ah, see that is where your wrong!" He said almost enthusiastically as he walked towards her, his crossbow still aimed at her wing. "Sure maybe you personally did nothing, but your kind killed my whole family. So you see there is the rub there. Now I get it, my family were hunters, totally makes sense. But to burn them alive, not even give them an honorable death, that is the cowards way to do things. Plus my baby sister was also burned alive in that house." He said bitterly as he stopped and looked down at her. "My innocent, baby sister, she wasn't even a year old!" He screamed at her and fired the crossbow. But surprisingly it didn't hit her as he had been aiming at previously. The bolt landed in the snow in front of her, purposely shot there. "Get out of here, before I shoot you for real." he said angrily, she was innocent, he could see it in her eyes and her manners. Killing her would be no better then what the other Aves had done to his sister.

Luna smiled as she watched the batter sizzle, slowly solidifying itself into the shape of a pancake. With a hushed voice, never sure if he was around or not, she said “I feel like under that cold mask, there’s a horrible story. I want to think he’s not just killing to kill, but I could be wrong.”
Persepolis flipped the pancakes, careful not to spatter the batter. She responded quietly, "That's usually the case. But it's not like he would ever talk to anybody about his past, anyway." She sighed stating truthfully. "It's the murderers with motives that are the hardest to stop."

Sierra covered herself with her wings as she heard the crossbow fire, but before that, she had listened to his pain attentively, sympathizing for the human hunter. With a choked-out whisper, she said “I’m so sorry.”, her words genuine and caring. She continued softly “I don’t know how that could feel.”, before standing up and slowly retreating farther away from the cliff, keeping an eye on him at all times, not only because she was scared he could change his mind, but also because she felt sorrow for him even though he was a complete stranger. She wanted to help, but he was angry enough already, and didn’t know how much more he could take.

Luna muttered quietly “Well at least if we get into a battle, or if someone ambushes us, we have the security of knowing he is on our side and not the other’s.”

Horius, who had been listening to the whole conversation from downstairs, stared outside as they spoke, forcing himself not to care about their words. If they knew, they’d understand. But nobody knew, and nobody ever would. Thats was just fate’s doing.

Casimir looked up at her and watched her walk away, slowly. "I will keep the other hunters off the mountain, you scare enough of them it shouldn't be hard. Most never show any sympathy for the pain they have caused. But do not thing this changes anything." He warned as he collected his bolt and turned to walk away. He was too raw at the moment, her innocent, pleading eyes had brought too much out of him and that scared him more then anything else. He shook his head, trying to set the walls that he kept up around himself back in place as he walked.

(Plot twist, wouldn't it be something if his baby sister didn't die. In his form I made it clear that the Aves didn't kill his family it was someone else, but he found a single Aves feather and assumed it was them. Wouldn't it be kinda neat if the feather was from a Aves who came by as the house was burning and heard the baby crying and rushed to save her, turned her into an Aves. talk about a plot twist. And a serious emotional hit should he ever find out. )

Persepolis nodded, no longer saying a word on the matter. She flipped the pancakes one more time to check that they were done, then took the pan off the fire. "They're still really hot, so we'll have to wait a minute before adding the berries. I figure that people can use their own knives to cut and eat them." (Also, let's just say that we have plates.)
"Shall we tell the others that these are done?"
