Lies and Deceit - A Fantasy RP

Luna blushed, blushing even harder once she realized she had already started blushing, and how much she had blushed the night before. She stammered quietly “I wanted to see if you were ok, how you were doing?”, which wasn’t completely the truth, but she didn’t want to admit verbally that she liked him yet, she was too embarrassed.

Alec's smile got bigger when she started blushing. "Is that it? So it wasn't because of my charming personality & good looks?" He joked, sitting down.

Luna’s blush magnified to its fullest effect, which in reality wasnt that red because her blushes were moderately tame. She finally mustered enough courage to whisper embarrasedly “Sometimes you have a bit too much charm, don’t you think? You’re making me blush like half the time I’m around.” She gave him a shy smile to show she didnt mind that and was just teasing him.

"For all I know, you just have a very red face. I wouldn't know, you're always blushing." Alec said, laughing.

Luna his her face with her hands, her blush slowly receding. She explained bashfully “You’re the reason it’s red all the time. What, do you like it this way or something? You seem to like it when I blush an awful lot...wonder why.” Luna slowly began turning the tables on him as she added playfully “Its like you like me or something.”

Alec squinted his eyes at her, watching her try to turn the tables. "I see what you're doing there. Psychological projection. Smart, but it's not gonna work."

Luna smiled a little, before asking with a bit more confidence and a teasing tone, “Really? So you deny that you like me? I see what you’re doing too.” She gave him a playful smile, making sure she wouldn’t offend him.

Persepolis had moved all of the venison into the kitchen. For now, the cuts of meat were laying on the cleaned off table. She'd deal with them soon.
At the moment she was working with the bones of the deer. She had separated all of the bones into piles. Leg bones. Ribs. Vertebrae. The skull, pelvis and miscellaneous bones lay in a pile of themselves. She worked diligently, hollowing out the leg bones. She deposited the removed marrow into a large bowl at her feet. She scraped the bones clean. After removing the marrow from as many bones as she could and cleaning the bones, she set them out in the sun to dry. They were off a ways from the main door of the cabin, they wouldn't be a disturbance to the others.
Persepolis brought the bowl of bone marrow into the kitchen and set about preserving it and the meat that she wouldn't immediately be using. She set the bowl of marrow on the counter. Persepolis set aside the trimmings as well.
Digging in the cupboards, she found a large container of rough salt. Good for meat preservation. She spread a decent layer of it out in the middle of the table. One by one, she took the rest of the cuts of meat and coated them thickly in salt. She tightly wrapped every cut in cloth. When she was finished, she moved the preserved meat into the cellar to be used later.
She returned to the kitchen and began grinding up the trimmings with a mortar and pestle.

"I'm not doing anything. You're the one that's totally into me." Alec said, smiling back.
Luna asked with a smirk, now over he blush, “And is that a bad thing? Or do you like it...I have a feeling that might be a mutual feeling, I saw you watching me by the fire yesterday.” She hoped it was mutual, and she had every reason to believ so. Besides, she enjoyed the banter they were sharing.
