Life Expectancy of Quail

Coturnix can live up to 5 years, but if induced laying by artificial light they will last around 3 years.......

Egg production drops off in females after 9 months of age, males fertility drops after a year of age........

Mine live about 12 weeks, give or take a few days...
;-)

Keepers lay best the first year into the second, start to decline (in fertility and standard) after that I hear...
