Hi ya'll,
All is well. Well, it will be.
Anyway.
Thank you for your concern.
Youth Camps. Lot came up and didn't have time to post, then when we returned from youth camps...my house had took a lightening strike...not a direct hit...but it blew lots of things....just now the men left after 3 days of repair on my phone lines.
So,
What's new? Lots to tell here, finished our VBS...it went great, youthcamp was a blast, and I got to spend time with my family.
One of my little puppies is in the vet hospital...vet says may get to come home tomorrow...sugar shock.
The other tiny miss is roaming around like a big dog!

Had some doctor visits, go back for a pow wow tomorrow....

Well, got squash to put up!

I'm sorry to have caused you worry, thank you for thinking of me.
Had no idea it was going to be so 'extended!' Nice folk from the phone company...a bit slow to repair...I was anxious to check back in!

I'm feeling very gloomy this morning. The vet called us early and said our little puppy had died in the night....

And yesterday, the other little puppy began having sugar spells, or what the vet thinks they are. He is going to look at my Scout in order to try to save Minx.

Chickens are good. Somehow or other I arrived home with chicken eggs from my sister...dominques.....I have not had much luck, but I surely would like to this time....I like the personality of the dominques. They are set to hatch the first day of camp meeting...

the Rev. is not really pleased....

Sugar spells, I have been around dogs all my life and never heard of that one. If you mean the dog is having seizures then that could be a number of things. I will tell you a personal experiance with seizures, we had a chihuahua/pom mix Spike, had him 2 years no health problems, moved to a new house with lots of tile floors so got a swiffer wet dry vac that one of my sisters recommended. With in 2 months of the move Spike started having one seizure after another. Took him to the vets put him on meds and he got even worse. We ended up putting him down the next day due to over 90 seizures in a 24 hour time frame.

We couldn't figure out what had changed so much as it was so fast and furious. The vet asked if I had changed cleaners or put poision down, the only thing different was that swiffer wet dry vac. See spike licked his paws and the vet said that she had lost a few dogs that year and the only thing in common was that swiffer. She believed that the cemicals never came off the floor. I did a search on the net and others feel the same way. I emailed the company and couldn't get a list of ingredents. I believe that I poisoned my grandpuppy by using that swiffer wet dry vac.

Could your pup of gotten into something that was toxic. Grapes and raisins are toxic to dogs some dogs are worse than others. I don't bring the grapes or raisins home anymore for fear my grandchildren will slip some to the dogs on accident.

On another note I see that Doctor visits for you are on the post. I sure hope all is fine with you and will be saying extra prayers for you and yours.

You bet you will be having prayers from all of us for your dr. visit today!! so sorry about your puppy!!! That is just awful! You will love the dominiques, Gwen. I have one, Lucy who is my favorite. She even slips into the house when she can and eats in the kitchen at the dog food bowels and the dogs just wait on her to finish. LOL You are in my thoughts and prayers today.

Well I am sorry to hear that you are headed for surgery. I will be saying extra prayers for you and yours. I sure hope you have extra hands to help you with all you will need help with while you recover. Prayers
