Dakota must not be feeling up to par. She was investigating what I had in my breakfast bowl. (Sugar frosted mini wheats) and added her own clear liquid from her crop into it. INTO MY BREAKFAST!!! I threw the whole thing out!
Maybe she drank too much water?
You have to be strong to raise chickens! Maybe I’ll have scrambled eggs instead
It's this pile of prefab crap. Too small for anything other than a small wall mounted heater.I have a couple of Sweeter Heaters, they are rather dear, but my gang likes hanging out under them.
How big is your coop? Can you walk into it?
Yes they are scary! No chickens in the kitchen! Bathroom ok, sunroom ok, kitchen no!
Trucks cars vans etc ok as long as they are not stow-aways! Or hijackers…
Oh they act all innocent then they hop into your truck and scream ‘drive Hooman, put your foot to the floor!’ - scary those chicks…

Amazing color patterns on your chooks. Looks like plaid. Dark lines matching each chook perfectly. And now that they're coming into molt, I'm not getting as many eggs. I think Gytha has all but stopped laying. Magrat and Esme give me one every 2 or 3 days. Sybil is still laying near daily.
Here's one week's worth of eggs. 6 Sybil eggs, 3 Esme, 2 (or 3) Magrat, and 1 (or 0) Gytha eggs.

It's easy to tell Sybil's apart, and usually Esme's too because hers are the largest and sometimes have a pink hue with white speckles, but Gytha and Magrat can be tougher. Usually Magrat's eggs have little purple spots (like the bottom right egg), but not every time. Otherwise they're the same shape and size as Gytha's eggs.
Molting Monday Mugs!
