I am feeling a little stress. That phone call was my mother telling me they were taking my brother to the ER. Blood pressure way to high...and climbing. He's been having panic attacks since Daddy's death...my SIL is taking him to hospital. The roads have icy patches on them now, and only getting worse.
Say a prayer for him.

Prayers to your whole family. It is going to bad where your mom is at and she needs to stay in the house if possible. Hope your brother will ok and gets back home before they get the worse of it. Keep me posted Gwen.

Prayers for the Rev, the woman having surgery, your Brother, and for you. Take care of you, worry never helps, too bad that someone telling you that doesn't help either. Sorry try not to worry.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I haven't read much on BYC lately. I know we all think that preachers' kids, wife's or family are suppose to deal with death differently but we all have emotional pain and miss our loved ones even tho we know they are in Heaven.

I hope your brother is okay. I agree with Ozark that your mother should stay home.

I hope the Rev. made it back before the roads gets bad or decides to stay at the hospital especially if he went to Little Rock.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers for my family.

The Rev. arrived home last night (6:25 pm) the roads were beginning to ice...he left just in front of the front in L.R. (No ice down here as of yet)
The woman is doing quite well, considering.

My brother was released last night late, they got his blood pressure down, and the test came back negative (which was good) he is set to have a stress test just to double check for any blockages...they think however, that the new meds caused the rise....it was 211/120 when they checked him in.

My BIL made it home safely (not sure if I mentioned he was iced in up in MO)...

What a lot of happenings...but

Today is the Rev.'s birthday...

We went 'flea-marketing'...

I found several things that made me...uhm...happy? lol
We stopped at an ALCO's and they were clearing out wood work items...I love sign's...found this for the Rev.'s office...he liked it...
can't wait to put it up!

Found those Wilton cake stands $10 for all 3!!!

Love the old blue speckled enamel canner...and
the sign...well, it's just priceless...course...he would'nt actually point it out to someone....

but it's a touch of humor ...much needed humor.
It was lovely temps here...on the way home our vehicle was reading 61*
found lots more items...

but.... it would make for too many pictures...just know...they were treating me like royalty as I was checking out...in spite of the young'uns circling around me....
