Hello,
Just wanted to post that my nephew is doing good...considering. Had a few complications, but God is good, and soon will be recovering in his own home.
Oh, the surgery only went 6 hours instead of the expected 8, and that's way better than the 14 hrs from the last surgery.
We are having a lovely day here. The chickens are enjoying it. I must say though, I had complete failure from the last 2 batches of eggs I tried to hatch.
And with Spring here, I don't have time to hatch anymore...well, maybe one more batch...we'll see.
Have encountered a difficulty. My son was golfing (practicing his swing) and a golf ball hit my roo, he has been hoping on one leg. Today though, he's walking but favoring that leg. Hope he is ok. Some might not think it would be some to worry about...you haven't met my son. Strong? Samson strong....ya betcha!
T-ball is starting...and well, it burns to catch a ball from him.
Poor Roo....(they were ranging in the backyard with us, in the fenced area....
Some days, I wish I could tell what I knew...I'm just busting!
We have been busy around here...
Sunday was church, resthome service, church, Monday evening was revival (not ours, we attended another church in our fellowship) then Tues. all day with nephew....today, well lovely, but church night and the rest of the week goes pretty much the same.
We are gathering our 'stuff' for a church yardsale. It is not junk...it's stuff.
And...would you believe I have an anniversary coming up as well? Yup, God is good.
I quote "he who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing" quite regular!
Reminding him how blessed he is to have me....
But the Rev. always quotes a few back to me too....
Well, we have 2 ladies in the hospital, one beginning chemo Thurs. and I have to get us ready, school is over and we've got to go visiting.
Ya'll Come
