Life from the Parsonage - A Journal of our Journey.

Oh, Gwen, you mentioned the little yellow plane that crop dusts...we had one around here..yellow and white..but he was killed in a plane crash within the last six months or so. So sad!! Glad Laramie is doing better. Mostly, glad to have you back !!

Oh my! That is sad! I sure hope it wasn't the crop duster I like to watch...
sad.png

I still haven't seen it, and they have been working the fields...besides the last 3 days...we had bad weather come in...snow too!

It was all gone by the time Sunday morning church was over.

So far 3 little chicks have arrived, a 4th is working steadily...kinda worried about this batch...not seeing much movement or sound within the eggs....

We had a wonderful time!! Friday night was a packed house, and Sat. was a big turn-out...we had a wonderful service, and lots of fun.

I have a prayer request to share:
PLease say a prayer for my nephew, he is set for heart surgery on Tues. it is a major heart surgery...he had one about 3 yrs ago, and it took 14 hours. Still didn't fix the problem, and well...too many details.
He is 18 and a talented handsome fellar who is in need of prayer.

I will share more pictures soon, and more details...rushing today, lots to do.

You bet he has our prayers! Please keep us posted as to his condition. I take it he is having it at Cox?
I can't wait to see the pics. How did the ladies react when they saw all the work you had put into the hall? I think it was very elegant for them.

Hello,
Just wanted to post that my nephew is doing good...considering. Had a few complications, but God is good, and soon will be recovering in his own home.
Oh, the surgery only went 6 hours instead of the expected 8, and that's way better than the 14 hrs from the last surgery.

We are having a lovely day here. The chickens are enjoying it. I must say though, I had complete failure from the last 2 batches of eggs I tried to hatch.
sad.png

And with Spring here, I don't have time to hatch anymore...well, maybe one more batch...we'll see.

Have encountered a difficulty. My son was golfing (practicing his swing) and a golf ball hit my roo, he has been hoping on one leg. Today though, he's walking but favoring that leg. Hope he is ok. Some might not think it would be some to worry about...you haven't met my son. Strong? Samson strong....ya betcha!
T-ball is starting...and well, it burns to catch a ball from him.
Poor Roo....(they were ranging in the backyard with us, in the fenced area....
hmm.png

Some days, I wish I could tell what I knew...I'm just busting!
barnie.gif

We have been busy around here...
Sunday was church, resthome service, church, Monday evening was revival (not ours, we attended another church in our fellowship) then Tues. all day with nephew....today, well lovely, but church night and the rest of the week goes pretty much the same.
We are gathering our 'stuff' for a church yardsale. It is not junk...it's stuff.
wink.png

And...would you believe I have an anniversary coming up as well? Yup, God is good.
I quote "he who findeth a wife, findeth a good thing" quite regular!
gig.gif
Reminding him how blessed he is to have me....
tongue.png
But the Rev. always quotes a few back to me too....

My (I claim it as mine...
roll.png
) yellow plane is on the cover of the phone book! I will copy it off, it's a great picture! Was thrilled when we got back and checked our mail!
Had a great Bible conf. arrived home last night....(it was my anniversary
smile.png
) and began early this morning with Angel Food. Fixing to leave for a 'tent' revival tonight. Very excited! My old college choir is singing and ministering there....and yes, we are taking a van load of people! Some have never been to a tent revival. Having to dress warmly, Winter is trying to blow it's last breath this year. Snowing in parts of Arkansas...just cold and windy here. Dressing warmly, pulling out the thick sock tights, boots and long heavy skirts for us...and thermals for my menfolk.
But spirits are high, and the sun is trying to peep out. Oh, my
looked at the clock....I've gotta go...
ya'll come
