Hello,
So far, no rain from IKE...but they say it's coming...though tornado's have been reported all around, our county is under a watch, and the county on the other side of us in already in a warning...so I can't stay long.
Here's one of the pictures of my little darlings...
We had a good trip last night, and yes, Rolling Romeo was along...he didn't seem very interested...the one he really likes wasn't there last night....he he he
lots going on...

I thought I was hibernating...

The medicine has made me ill, but I have noticed a difference...so, keeping on keeping on.
The insurance adjuster came out, then he sent an engineer out...waiting to hear back...

Well, not done with work here...

Good morning all, hope all our friends are safe from Ike? We had horrible winds early this morning and tons of rain but low and behold, when the sun came up there sitting on the picnic table was a basket of eggs that I had set there and forgot to bring in from yesterday!

All were perfect and the basket had not tipped over

Hailey looks just like you Gwen

Both children look like angels.
I do pray that each of our Ark., Tx. and Louisianna neighbors are safe.

I'm so sick these past couple of days...really dizzy. Not going to tarry long.
The Rev. had an overnight test at the hospital, he is home.
We have had lovely weather, supposed to warm up tomorrow...

Hello,
I went to the doc today, things still not where he said he was happy, but not as bad as they could be either...so we are 'watching', will go back in a few weeks.

Sorry, I don't have time to post...it has been busy...
Dressing to leave for a viewing. A member of our church has passed away...and lots going on with all of that.

Hope ya'll have a great week, will get back when I can.

Gwen I sure hope things slow down and that your medical problems are gone by the next appointment. But then again keeping the mind and body busy keeps you from getting fear crazy.

So sorry for the community's lose of a friend and church member. I still keep you and yours in my daily prayers.

Playing catch-up with my school, preparing for mid-terms, and also trying to get ahead this week.... our church is having a fundraiser this week-end, they have had a booth in the Octoberfest for 7years...looking forward to it. Hope to meet lots of folks...if your in the area, come by and say Howdy!

Next week is the mid-terms, and then I'm leaving for a ladies retreat...with 11 ladies...

nah...just kidding...I'm pretty sure it will look like this...

Anyway, we should have our new T-shirts, I got those ordered last week, in the midst of everything...
My daughter had a birthday party yesterday, I used fondant for her cake....didn't get the bow made it time for it to harden like it should have....but she didn't care,

She is ill, they are burning the fields around us, her throat is red, sore, and she has a headache, they have been burning for days now, her asthma is flaring pretty strong... poor baby.
She is having a sick day from school, yes, even homeschoolers have sick days...

we teased her and said never!

Oh! We were having a church cleaning and decorating day Saturday, I was just singing, and had the vacuum going....the cord pulled loose, went back to plug it in and saw an muddy brown tail disappear under the pew....whew! I landed on top of the pews...straddling 2 of them! Got my scream out, and then hollered for a hoe....the ladies came running in there...told them I was pretty certain I had seen a snake...you should have seen the skirt tails flapping!

I might add they left me high and dry...
But who am I to talk? There I was perched on the "top" of the pews...which is the 'back' of the pews...I had my skirt hugged up around my knees, and was desperately searching for where that thing went!
They came drifting slowly back in....I could hear them discussing who was going to go get a hoe, while they were perched in chairs in the fellowship hall...I must say, "I felt very alone!" The Reverend had went out on a call earlier that morning, so, it was up to us, well, me.
Long story short....we did not find anything. NO WHERE!
Sunday in church, I'm not sure if we had a 'super' service, or if everyone was just afraid to sit down!! No, seriously, we had awesome services, but I will tell you when I picked up my hymnal, or put my foot down, I was watching where it went!

Well, I need to stop rattling, and get to studying....
