Gorgeous! If I were closer, I'd help wih the food, too. I'm a foodie and a pretty good cook.

Fortunately for us, these three women have always put on a stellar feast for special occasions. I trust they will handle it and handle it well!!!

It was a good day for me. Ken not so much. The humidity here is outta control and it makes it hard for him to breathe.

We have AC but when it's this humid it doesn't help that much. Breathing treatments and oxygen are all that he can use. We just need this monsoon weather to GO. Friday it rained so hard here that traffic came to a standstill!

Thanks. Does anyone have any suggestions where we could have the wedding and reception? My best friend is making the food. We need a place that doesn't charge an arm and leg and will let us bring in our own food. My friends house is an option, just not the best one.

I was going to say that a friends house or your house would be cheapest. We had a lovely wedding at my MIL house in the country. If you want I will post a few pics. That or a local park. You have to get permission for that though.

We get snow here, no out door weddings in December. Our house is too small, plus the thought of the clean up makes me shudder.

I appreciate you sharing your story with us. We can use all the information and prayers we can get. More for Ken than me please. Right now we seem to be in a honeymoon period. He is not pushing himself as hard, he is feeling better, I am feeling more confident he may be around for a while. It may be a false sense of security, but I am willing to live with that!

I've been keeping up with your story. You are both in our thoughts & prayers here.

That's my folks' wedding anniversary -- 57 years this year. It's a good day to get married.
