Life span of silkies

Two of three of our silkies have died over the past 3 months, they weren't quite a year old. They were both active and healthy looking during the day. Any thoughts?

I've only had silkies for a few years now, but my oldest is 3 and showing no signs of slowing down... can you tell us a little more about them, their housing, food, behavior, etc? Doesn't sound right that they're dying this young without a reason...

My white one is not going to live long if he doesn't stop attacking everyone that comes in the yard.

You can send dead chickens to your State Veterinarian for a necropsy to discover why they died. Check out the stickies at the top of the forum.
