this is supposed to be a pullet who is now almost 3.5 months old, i know with saddle feathers if the are pointy is a rooster, and round a hen. the problem and my question is... It's saddle feather, the black patterning comes to a very sharp point, but is has a fine outline of white that is rounded. im not sure if the white is going to fall out leaving the black point, or come in fuller to round the feather out. any guidence on how this works is greatly appreciated.

On my light brahmas, the females feather more quickly, especially in the saddle area. Pullet feathers in the saddle come in WHITE. The males will show color as soon as the saddles come in, black laced with white. Judging from your photos, that is a cockerel. The comb development on this particular bird would indicate male as well.
