OK, I've pretty much made up my mind it's a roo. But my mom isn't so sure. She wants confirmation, and I'm ready to settle this chicken's name!! So here's some pictures, thanks

(I hope it's a roo! I want one for my hens!)

Update July/10/2011!

It's a hen! Last night she came down form the coop singing an egg song (realllly loud) then just this morning she squatted when I bent down to pick her up.

NEW pictures!

His wattles and comb have grown, maybe that'll help.

He looks a lot like our boy!! We thought we had all hens but low and behold we have our man who is starting to do his little cock-a-doodle-do in the morning and we couldn't be more proud

At 16 weeks I wouldn't be so sure. Looks rather girlish to me, though I haven't kept any Brahmas. One way or another, you should know before long.

I heard a half crow a couple weeks ago. I don't have any other roosters, and neither do my neighbors (suburbian lifestyle..) none of my hens make that noise. So I'm guessing Ramses did it.

I know LB's mature slower, could it be that he/she will take a long time before I absolutely know? I've heard horror stories of LB's taking 9 months to lay their first egg....
