Light Brahma in Thailand - Updated Pics, Pullet or Roo Please?

Two early for me to tell yet.

If I had to guess, I'd say they were all pullets.... Guess we'll wait and see.

Good luck.

Close up shots don't do anything for me. Large comparison shots are best.

Well, you could change it to "Sirius" from Harry Potter?

Since "Sybil" is the Divination teacher at Hogwarts (from Harry Potter). Not "too" far of a jump there!

It's taking me a little while, but I think I'm starting to come around to the idea that I probably have two potential roosters.

Been trying to cheer myself up by thinking of really cool names for them. I've decided that Sybil will now be known as - D'Artagnan (musketeers fame LOL). Seems a suitably majestic name. If Phoebe turns out to be a cockerel too, then he will be called Aramis!

How soon do I need to be concerned about the boys fighting over the one pullet?

Im happy to read that my Lt brahmas personality is normal. She is the biggest in my bunch with the most personality. Very bossy and definately head honcho.. but also the sweetest. I love her to bit and pieces. She is also my girls favorite. I would love to have another Brahma someday.

Ok, I'm going to try to load images of my two "boys." Hopefully it will work. They are the kings of my flock, which is now down to about 40 (although I will be adding more soon hopefully). They are wonderful boys, in fact, they get along better than my children

They get along fine, they don't fight over any of the girls, seem to watch out for everyone very well, and although they prefer if you don't pick them up

they are not aggressive towards me, my children, dogs, cats, or any guests that may come over. I'm so happy with them!!
