Light Brahma pullet or cockerel?

My newest brahmas are 10 weeks old and I don’t remember my buff Brahma pullets being so red so early and this light Brahma is making me question because they are becoming red faster? What do you think pullet or roo?

Looks like it might be a roo. Time will tell, really.

This one is on the borderline. Comb is small but it is colorful, so mixed signals. I would give it another 2 or 3 weeks before deciding.

I’m leaning cockerel. Brahmas can be tricky to sex until they’re are a bit older, especially with the colours that aren’t dimorphic. The comb is quite red, a pullet would be paler at this age. Their combs aren’t very big when fully grown anyway, so that’s why it’s small now. You’ll be able to tell for sure in a few more weeks.

I also have a 10 week old light Brahma and her comb is nowhere near that large nor red. Based on that alone I would say it’s a cockerel.

I’m certainly not an expert. I have raised a grand total of 2 light Brahma one of each sex. I’m about 80% sure that’s a pullet. I don’t have a 10 week picture of my pair but the attached picture is mine at 8 weeks old. My cockerel had very developed wattles and bright red comb 2 weeks younger than your current picture.

I will also agree and say I'm 80% sure she's a pullet and have raised quite a few Brahmas of each sex
