Two days ago DH tripped over the cord for our coop light that is on a timer and it got unplugged without him realizing. Yesterday morning/early afternoon he noticed the light was off and plugged it back in. Yesterday we got 2 eggs. Today we only got 1 egg instead of 2. Is this coincidence or did one morning of no light throw off one of the laying hens?

I'm not an expert, but I would say coincidence. I have 8 BO hens seperated out to collect some hataching eggs from right now, and thier schedule, without a light, is quit variable. Two days ago we got four eggs, yesterday, we got five and today only two. Who knows what tomorrow will bring.
