light sussex crossed with auraconas and americanas

I would like to know if anyone has heard that breeding the light sussex to americanas will make the eggs darker blues and greens.

Nope, that won't darken blue eggs, and probably not a dark enough brown to make green eggs olive...

Not likely. Maybe a little darker. I've gotten some nice olive and Easter eggers from crossing my cuckoo Marans with EEs. Some lay a lovely olive green egg, others are super blue. I get a few that are still light blue and mint, but most are much darker for greens and brighter for blues.
