I actually purchased coronations and light sussex from GreenFireFarms in March 09. To put it bluntly .... they are amazing, beautiful and the most docile birds I have ever seen.
The only way I was able to afford them was the fact that I coach our girls' middle school basketball teams and I receive a stipend every season. This year I chose to purchase a gift for myself !!!
They started laying about a month ago now and I have eggs due to hatch next week and just can't wait!!!!

If I am understanding correctly... someone is speaking of importing stock of Light Sussex and Coronations? Do you realize how much time and what expenses your looking at? Compared to purchasing from GreenFireFarms or from another person who has them? Maybe I wasn't understanding the thread quite right and by all means correct me if I am wrong.

I can tell you that Paul Bradshaw aka GreenFireFarms spent $15,000 having 12 birds imported. You sure you wanna spend that kind of money right off the bat? lol
