Light Sussex Thread!!!

Hey There!! Don't have any, yet. But DH is wanting Light Sussex.
I have a question. Technically these are going to be "his birds", but I will be the one who will be looking after them on a regular basis.
Will they still be friendly w/ him, even though he won't be spending nearly as much time w/ them.
We've had issues w/ other animals in the past, due to the fact that I'm "Mommy" (trainer/ caretaker) and not really wanting to have much of anything to do w/ him.
I was wondering if I was going to be having similar issues here w/ this particular breed of bird.
 
I find my Sussex to be very food oriented. When people come here to view my birds they are amazed at how friendly they are. If you do the ground work when they are young, they should be happy to see anyone with a treat.
