Lighting for duck houses? (not for egg purposes!)

I think its because when I turn them off the raccoons climb the coop trying to get in. They probably still do it with the light on but maybe its not as scary.

I think its because when I turn them off the raccoons climb the coop trying to get in. They probably still do it with the light on but maybe its not as scary.

They probably feel more secure being able to see the predator so that they feel they can hide better from them. That is maybe why they like the lighting so much.
