If my boorder get to hot in the day time can I turn light off my chickens are almost a week old?

I would move the heat lamp away from the chickens so not as much heat gets in.

Do you have a thermometer to check the temperature in the brooder?

I move my lamp to adjust the temp but keep it on so it doesn’t get below 85....my 4 vary in age between 1.5 and 3 weeks old. they need some additional heat if they are still inside in a brooder. How old are your babies?
