Solved Like button taking a long time after ipad update

My ipad just updated. The "like" function has changed... it's really balky and I can no longer just hit like for a thumbs up--I have to choose a reaction. It takes several seconds and then I have to tap off to the side to get the last pop-up image to go away.

We haven't been able to duplicate this, so it might be specific to your setup. You may want to try clearing your browser cache and reboot your device.

Yes!! And now that I come to think of it it happened after I updated my iPhone.

Yes my “Like“ has changed since I updated to iOS 13.4.1

(I am actually getting used to the like button having to be hit twice, so it’s not so bad now)

ETA: my like button doesn’t lag though. It will pop up right away.

I have the same issue. Tbh it’s stopped me from liking posts in long threads. You must double click each time. First to activate the options of reactions and then to select the one you want. Occasionally there’s a confusing highlight that pops up too.

Is it still happening? I just checked today and it stopped doing it for me. Now I can like a post with just one simple click
