That's exactly what I'm seeing. Makes my eyes cross a bit, but I might just be extra sensitive to things like this.

Can confirm, and actually the heart and the green i are a bit blurry too. Not enough to be illegible but noticeable when I zoom in a lot. Not vector based images?

Boo on the new. It's ugly. I find myself avoiding it. Plus it's facing the wrong direction and the thumb sticks up too far. I agree, it's creepy. Not friendly. Bring back the old!
