I probably wouldn't make all of the walls plexiglass, probably just one, even better, just a viewing window. Little chicks get scared pretty easily, and if they can see things walking past the walls all the time, they will spend more time hiding than eating and scratching and growing strong

Good call on the plexi-glass casey.

Make the height of the brooder based on how long you pplan on keeping them in there.

Nice:) I found out last year that they out grow smaller brooders fast. I wasn't ready for that. Maybe something that you can expand to keep them in it longer. Have fun!
