This is my rooster Lil' Jon, aka Lasagna.

I'm wondering what breed he would be considered. He is VERY intelligent, but I'm wondering if the breed is prone to being aggressive.. I know, I know.. he IS a rooster! I'd love to try & "train" him to be more polite & friendly.

Roosters don't have to be aggressive! In fact, most roosters aren't. I also think the breed has nearly nothing to do with it. Its about how they are raised. There are smaller breeds which are prone to be skitish but they can also be trained. I have a silkie roo who I have been working with. VERY sweet boy! I have a Barred Rock mutt roo, who thinks I am absolutely terrifying and won't come near me. You just have to work with them. Good Luck!

Looks like an oegb from a hatchery or possibly an oegb cross. Ive had good luck with any hatchery oegb Ive bought before. He looks like a nice bird though! I had a white ameraucana bantam, 1 black ameraucana bantam, and 1 barred rock bantam that were overly aggressive, all the other bantams Ive ever raised were pretty docile for the most part and all my LF have been docile. No matter what I did those 3 stayed bad so I got rid of them best of luck with him, Im sure you can try to train him but some mean ones cant be helped lol

To me, he looks mostly like a tiny Australorp, so maybe cross that or cross orpington?
