One of the main reasons I'm chasing this breed! And what kind of hater could hate on a cute fluffy chick? I want the hawks to be nervous coming around my property! The black ones legs are black and a white breast View attachment 1264051 View attachment 1264052 View attachment 1264053 View attachment 1264054 looks like a hawk or something .

I am so amazed though out of all the breeders I ran down via e-mail from the livestock conservancy, only one has replied and none have offered up breeder photos. I think in the US this breed has probably really died out and will require some dedicated folks or deep pockets to bring them back to their standard of perfection.

by deep pockets i mean importations from Germany and Aussieland.
If you get them up to bred to standard you could be sitting on a gold mine!Well I'm new to all this but I will continue to look for better in my own flock others post on eBay I occasionally one from South Carolina if I see him post again I'll order some of his may get lucky and get a good show bird from combining genes .
