Lilly's Life:

Chapter 7

The dog was terrifying! It was a black dog too. It started to scratch at the top and tried to open the box. It flipped the top part open and was reaching down with his paw at me! I went to the farthest corner from him. I was so terrified.
“HELP!” I scream at the top of my lungs. “HELP, HELP!”
The dog barked at me. I heard stomping coming towards me now. The human girl came rushing through the door.
“Dez!!!!!! NO! Bad dog! Go kennel up! No treats for you for the rest of the week!” Oh thank goodness…. She saved me!
The girl rushed over to me and scooped me up right away. She cuddled me in her arm.
“Ohhh, I’m so sorry sweetie. Dez never really acts like that.” The human girl said with comfort. She then found a chair and sat in it. She lay down in the chair and I sat on top of her. This was kinda of relaxing. My eyes began to flutter closed. It wasn’t too cold or too hot in this room. It was just right.

“I wonder what I should name you.” The girl woke me up from my peaceful sleep. I already have a name. Why does she need to give me a different one?
“Hmmm….” She was thinking. No! I already have a name….
She shook her head and stood up.
“Well little girlie, I will think about it, ok? I’ll see you tomorrow morning.” She smiled and walked out of the room and actually closed it this time.

I was getting really bored in this box…. Why am I even in here anymore? I feel fine! Although I am a bit warm, but still. I. Want. Out. I bet Rose is stealing all of my friends. She’s probably even telling lies about me so they wouldn’t be my friend again. My only real best friend was a new girl named Lacy. She was a tiny girl but so beautiful! Rose was probably telling her not to be my friend because I was sick.
I went up to the platform and looked out. I had nothing to do so I played a little game. I tried to find different things to name. I saw a bright green thing on this little brown thing. The green thing is a…. Man this is hard. I give up. It was a dumb game anyways…. I sighed and got down and just decided to sleep again. Maybe, just maybe, tomorrow will hopefully be the time I get out of this suffocating box.
