Lilly's Life:

Chapter 14 1/2

I think I’m going to go over to the willow tree. I have no other choice. But I wonder what I’d tell my mom. Or should I even tell her at all? Should I just sneak away?
I looked to my left and saw Jaz! I ran over to him.
“Did you find her!?” I asked him right away.
“No. I’m sorry. I did the best I could.”
I started to tremble. I whispered, “Well you didn't try hard enough and maybe I should find her on my own.”
“What?” He asked. I then sprinted into the woods. I ran and ran and ran.
I faintly heard Jaz saying, “Lilly! No! Come back!” But I would not listen. He didn’t try hard enough. I kept running till I was out of breath and stopped to look around. It was familiar. I know I passed it before. I looked behind me and I heard something calling me. Two-three. I knew it was Jaz, mom, and my dad. I waited a few moments and sprinted again straight. All I passed so far was pine trees, oak trees, and bushes. I still didn’t reach the willow tree yet.
“Rose!” I called out. “Rose, Rose! Where are you!?”
Then I heard, “Lilly! Lilly! Where are you!?” I knew that was my mom.
I kept running on and on. Then stopped.
I gasped.
