The horrifying snow just kept pilling everywhere! The wind kept blowing me from side to side so now I knew I wasnt headed towards the coop.
I bumped into something. Ow! It was wood . I tried to see what it was but I could barely make it out. I walked to the right of the wood thing and bumped into more wood. Where am I? Suddenly I realize that Im by the humans playhouse where we take dust baths and what not.
There was little room under the house but it still was protection. I went under it and finally snow didnt hit me but the icy wind chilled me to the bone. I huddled up on my legs and feet to keep warm. Even if I am puffy and fluffy it was still freezing out! It must be below 0*F!
I peered out a little. It was really coming down and I knew it wont stop for a while. I sat back down and closed my eyes, wishing for the best. Alright if Im at the dust baths then I have to be close to the coop. I thought. But I would still get lost in this heck of a storm! I opened my eyes and sighed. I hope Rose is alright and all the others. Im so glad Lacy isnt out here in this cold. Im glad shes in a nice, warm place.
I huddle closer in. I got a little bit warm but Im still cold. I just cant take this anymore! Maybe I should just try again towards the coop .
I looked out one last time. It was still blowing out there. I waited till my legs and feet got warm before I headed out.
Once they did get warm enough I went out to the left. I was blinded once again, but I kept going. Each step took about 5 minutes. I tried opening my eyes more. I see a a light! I see light! Thats the hen house! I started running towards the coop. I banged into metal. How many times do I have to bang into stuff? Ugh!
I looked around. It was closed. The coop door was closed. Maybe the wind blew it shut? No. The humans must of shut it. But they cant just forget me! They must have forgotten Rose too but the humans always make sure all of us are there. I stood back in the whistling wind and examined the door. And when I looked up and I was so sure I saw a raccoon putting down the lever and locking me out.
