Limited space

I have five chickens in a six feet wide six feet long and seven feet tall run ( soon to add at least five more feet the the lenght) and a coop on stilts built for ten... how many chickens could fit in the run and still have enough room? We are unable to have them as open range chickens as we have too many desert kit fox running around and my family is rather fond of having the chickens around. I just don't want to crowd them.. Thanks

I read on here somewhere if I remember correctly you should give 4ft per bird in the run area if that helps.

I wouldn't think you'd have very happy birds if you had more than 4 in that run...

<edit> though after re-reading your post, if your run will eventually be 11x6, then six birds would probably be content in there...
