Hello all,
I'm considering slowly raising the volume of meat birds I raise. I'm aware of the 1000 and 20,000 bird limits, but I am a little concerned with the difference between the two. I am a little confused about the "sanitiation" stipulations in the federal law with regard to processing.
I'm in Minnesota, and as far as I can tell, I would be able to raise over 1000 birds on pasture, assuming I meet the requirements of the 20,000 bird level.....
Hopefully this doesn't sound too confusing, but I am a little confused about the federal requirements...
