So today is very warm out in Minnesota. Yesterday evening when I went to put my chickens up to bed, I noticed this chick sitting by herself on the ground. I thought nothing of it and thought it was normal. Today I go out there and she is hobbling on the ground and won't apply pressure to her left foot. Normally when I pick the chicks up they are very frightened, but she allows me to pick her up and just sleeps in my arms. She very rarely opens her eyes and just chirps quietly to herself. We have three roosters we are working in getting rid of. There was a small amount if dry poo on her back, so do you think a rooster could have been to much weight and broke her foot? When we touch her foot she doesn't chirp.
