Limp gone long

Well, now I know that chickens can like spa treatments.
Plug has been removed for a few days. Unfortunately, it's now more obvious it is just her right foot causing the problem. Still won't put pressure, just hangs the leg while walking and barely skateboards with frontmost nail for a tiny bit of forward momentum
Nothing noticeable at all on her.

Did anything come out from under he plug or was it just the cover that came off? If it's still puffy, soften the hole again with epsom saltsand try to push or (CAREFULLY) dig out any pus. In a cicken, pus usually looks like congealed petroleum jelly - thick and icky. Once you get the "head" poking out of the hole, you may be able to pull it ot ... veeeery slowly and gently ... with a pair of tweezers. .

Ok update. Her actual limp leg showed signs of swelling and yellowed skin above the hock. *Nothing to do with the other foot's lil' bumble.

I ordered some Fish Mox and after the 2nd day she was acting like her old self, wanted to leave her quarantine, and is standing around even wile eating. The limp is still there but after the 5th day the skin is returning to normal color.

It looks like the limp (and no weight bearing) may be there to stay which is a shame because of course she gets jumped by a couple other chickens and tries to stay alone. After daily visits back into population, she insists she wants to stay an inside bird next to my desk but I need her out.

Any thoughts?

Get her a chicken diaper. They're a lot easier to maintain than most people realize.

She still wants to roam and be normal. The other day her left chest to leg was dark under skin and some blood from couple Feathers like she was fully bruised under. Now that's abating but her hurt leg above hock is 2.5x the size as other.
