Hi. My name is Nan. I have a 12 yr old hen named Lily that I've had since she was a day old. Recently her coop mate passed. I brought in three pullets to keep her company. One of the pullets we noticed is limping. I've isolated her (she can still see everyone, they just can't chase her). She is eating and drinking just fine. She limps and sits on the roost bar to the side. Can I safely administer suspended ibuprofen and if so, how much and how frequently. If you have other ideas I'd love to hear.
I am also going to get today Vitamins and Electrolytes for her. I was thinking of dabbing some lavender oil on the leg/joint.
