Limping but no visible injuries and I don't feel anything

Our black Olive Egger hen Juniper has been limping for a few days and at first I thought that maybe she had an injury so I checked her over completely but there's nothing wrong with her leg or foot. Nothing visible and I don't feel anything wrong with it.
It's gotten a bit better even though she's still slightly limping. She's still eating and drinking well.

Could she have strained it?

I didn't think about that. I guess she could have bruised it.
I swear these birds are trying to send me to an early grave with how much they worry me

Yes, or bruised it like @sourland said. Nothing to worry about as long as she keeps improving.
