Limping Chick? (Plus breed ID?)

Interesting! So what time of year do you sell eggs if you can sell them? :)

Whenever they're laying and I'm not hatching myself, lol! I owe a friend some eggs before I sell to anyone else, but one of my girls just picked back up for the fall and I'm hoping more will follow, so I may have some for sale in a little bit.

Thanks! Mine do very well in the winter here :) And my coop is entirely open on the front too. It doesn't bother them.

How do you think the hatch rate would be if they were shipped as far as PA? I don't know very much about hatching eggs so I'm just curious if you think they'd do well through a trip like that. Obviously you can't always guarantee a 100% hatch rate but I'm just curious what your thoughts are on that

Well, with shipped eggs usually you count yourself lucky to get 50% to hatch. However, PA's not too far and I get people reporting good hatch rates to me so you might do better than that. Unfortunately though it's always a gamble - never know how the PO is going to treat them :(

Ok, cool! I know I've heard they are less careful with eggs than they are with chicks :/

Where would I most likely be able to see if you post some for sale? :)
